One of the top ranked players from the class of 2019 is defensive back Demani Richardson. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound standout checks in from Waxahachie (Texas)
Demani Richardson holds offers from Baylor Bears, Florida State Seminoles, Georgia Bulldogs, LSU Tigers, TCU Horned Frogs, and the Texas Longhorns to name a few. He will visit Texas tomorrow.
“I’m still getting that arranged and looking forward to everything, being with the coaches and players, looking around the facility and doing whatever we are going to do,” Demani Richardson said.
Richardson and his family are enjoying the recruiting process.
“Well right now they just told me to focus on school, so we’re taking things slow,” Richardson said. “They are happy for me but yeah they don’t want me to rush things. In a school, I’m looking for an overall good program, city, probably a city in Texas and coaches that make me feel at home and are honest. My overall thought about the Texas program is it’s a great program and will become the top program in football in a few years.
Richardson wrote his scouting report.
“Demani is a physical 6’1, 200lbs safety that loves to hit,” Richardson said. “He can cover and also is a ball hawk. He has a very high football IQ and has really good instincts.”
2016: As a sophomore, Richardson recorded 47 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions, and one fumble recovery.
